\nabout the Mississippi River, America\u2019s River Re-Explored<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/em><\/strong>.<\/span>
\nIt joins two smaller Paquette works in the collection since his solo exhibition.<\/span>
\nThe GMoA hosted Vibrant Excursions<\/em><\/strong> in 2000, a one-man exhibition of Paquette’s paintings.<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Paintings that had been on long-term loan to the Bemidji State University in Minnesota<\/strong>, were recently gifted to the institution,
\nestablishing a new Permanent Art Collection to augment the university\u2019s renowned Harlow ceramic and extensive Kleven Print Collections.
\nThe works on display at the A.C. Clark Library include a series of large paintings done while Paquette was on a three-year fellowship-residency at the National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts<\/strong> in Miami Beach in the early 1990s.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n<\/span>\u2022 <\/strong>In 2022, a major private philanthropic organization<\/strong> purchased four site-specific works for their new headquarters. A Paquette triptych<\/span><\/strong><\/a> in this collection measures 10 feet across by 5 feet high.<\/span>
\n \u2022 <\/strong>In 2022, Georgia Museum of Art<\/strong> acquired a large painting, Reckoning after the Flood<\/strong><\/a><\/em><\/span>, for their collection.<\/span>
\n \u2022 <\/strong>In 2021, five museums acquired new paintings for their collections: The Brinton Museum<\/strong> (Wyoming), Wildling Museum of Art<\/strong> (California), St Bonaventure University Permanent Art Collection<\/strong> (New York), Susquehanna National Heritage Area<\/strong> (Pennsylvania), and Bemidji State University Permanent Art Collection<\/strong> (Minnesota).<\/span>
\n \u2022 <\/strong>In 2020, Minnesota Marine Art Museum<\/strong><\/a> acquired the major painting, Alma’s Buena Vista<\/em><\/strong><\/a>, for their permanent collection.<\/span>

\n \u2022 <\/strong>Fox Creek Crossing<\/span><\/strong><\/a><\/span><\/em> [64 x 63 inches, oil\/canvas] was acquired in 2019 by the Erie Art Museum<\/strong><\/a><\/span>‘s permanent collection from a private collector in Miami, FL, who bought it when it was shown at the Bass Museum of Art<\/strong><\/a><\/span> in 1990.<\/span>
\n \u2022 <\/strong>In 2018, the U.S. Department of State<\/strong> acquired Headlands<\/em><\/strong><\/a> [50 x 40 inches, oil\/linen] for permanent installation at the new NATO Headquarters<\/span><\/strong> in Brussels<\/a>.
